There was a huge celebration of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 in Kossuth Square by the Hungarian Parliament Building in downtown Budapest today. The official estimate of the crowd size was put at 400,000 people at the square. The official celebration at Kossuth Square included song and music, poetry, displays and speeches. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a beautiful and strong speech about the revolution and its significance. An inspiring testament was given by 1956 revolutionary freedom fighter László Balás-Piri to the crowd as well. Overall, it was a very beautiful and moving tribute to the Hungarian Revolution. Today Hungarians remembered.
