Fiery protest in Budapest

Last week saw a fiery protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in Budapest. A group supporting Tibetan independence burned an effigy of a Tibetan monk right in front of the embassy. This action closed the embassy for a short time. Budapest police were called and they detained six people. These people were charged with vandalism. The protesters chanted "free Tibet" and waved flags in front of the embassy. Photos of those who died in self-immolation in recent years were placed by the protesters on the fence of the embassy.
