Significant number

500,000,000,000

Speaker of Parliament Laszlo Kover recently said that when the conservative Fidesz government came into power in 2010, Hungary faced total bankruptcy. The new government had inherited a debt of 500 billion Hungarian forints or EUR 1.6bn from the previous left-wing socialist government.

The conservative Fidesz government has saved Hungary in the last 3 years financially and has put her back on the right course according to Kover. Statistics show that jobs in Hungary have increased by 280,000 since 2010 and that economic output has increased by 2.7 percent at the end of 2013.

Editor's note: Based on this new info and the fact that Hungary faced totally bankruptcy in 2010, who in their right mind would want to vote the former governing left-wing socialists back into power or any left-wing party for that matter?
