Quote of the day

"But according to the rules of ‘journalism lite’, it seems few correspondents can be bothered with balance and taking a good, hard look. If it’s about Hungary, it’s apparently alright to file a story so slanted in its sources that it would never get by a decent editor if it were about their own domestic politics."

Hungarian Deputy State Secretary for International Communication Ferenc Kumin on the mainstream media bias on Hungary. Misleading articles are written by the mainstream media on Hungary's conservative government on a daily basis. Kumin wrote a post on his blog regarding a recent article by the New York Times on the upcoming Hungarian general election. The article was very misleading and not reflective about the current election situation in Hungary.
