While in the city of Lviv in the western Ukraine, pop into the Hideout Cafe and have a drink with local anti-communists. Western Ukraine has always been a hotbed of Ukrainian nationalism and you won't find many supporters of Moscow or communism there. The Hideout Cafe glorifies the anti-Soviet Ukrainian Insurgent Army that was in operation during and after the Second World War. It is also more than a cafe, the Hideout is also a little museum where fun is poked at Russians/communists. The cafe is very popular with locals and the youth in Lviv.
