Video: State-of-the-nation 2014



The video of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán presenting his annual state-of-the-nation speech in Budapest, February 16, 2014. Viktor Orbán's ruling centre-right Fidesz party has a firm and comfortable lead in opinion polls ahead of elections due in April. In his half an hour speech, Orbán sets out stakes for the upcoming general election. Basically, he tells Hungarians that they must chose between his successful government or the previous post-communist regime that had brought Hungary to the brink of collapse.
