and in a sense remained, beneficiaries of the communist regime.”
A quote from the Speaker of Parliament László Kövér. He made the comment at a ceremony last Friday paying
tribute to victims of communist dictatorship in Budapest. Hungarians suffered greatly under communism for over four decades. During the ceremony, Kövér also said "No compromise must be made with any regime of terror
which uses murder, torture, detention or humiliation as means to
transform and control society."
