Subjugation of nation states

Our favourite libertarian Nigel Farage MEP, Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), makes some interesting points about how the European Union is subjugating nation states. According to Farage, the EU is using bailouts as a means of subjugating and then controlling independent EU member states economically and politically. What the EU wants to do is to totally subjugate nations states to undemocratic structures in Brussels (EU). Farage argues that the EU has taken control of the situation in the member states that had asked for the monetary bailouts.

Farage says that puppet prime ministers in the member states are then told what to by EU delegations. Sounds very similar to the days when Soviet Union sent delegations that told Hungary or Poland what to do or else. Nigel Farage is entirely correct in this fact and what makes this scary is that the Soviet Union used similar tactics with the Eastern Bloc countries and satellite states during the Cold War.

Hungarians have seen these tactics before and it is no surprise that the conservative government of Orbán Viktor is standing up to the EU. At the first Peace March earlier this year, Orbán proudly declared that "We will not be a colony" in his speech to the Hungarian people. Hungarians never again want to become a "colony" to any foreign power, including the EU.
