The second Peace March was a huge success! It is estimated that around 150,000 people participated in the march that made its way through downtown Budapest to Kossuth Square. The official commemoration ceremony for the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 was held at the square where around 400,000 people assembled. Hungarians have once again shown the world and the mainstream media that there is strength in numbers. They have shown that they support a free democratic Hungary that is independent of outside influence and control. This was a great victory for the Hungarian people and an awesome tribute to the memory of the Hungarian Revolution. God bless Hungary!
