This story has generated a lot of buzz on the internet in the last few days. A new brightly-coloured fresco on the wall in the Serbian Orthodox Church of Christ's Resurrection in Montenegro's capital of Podgorica, has triggered much attention and controversy. It shows some high-profile communist figures in the fiery rivers of hell.
Yugoslavia's late autocratic leader Josip Broz Tito is seen drowning in red fiery waves of hell. Along with Tito are Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, authors of the 1848 Communist Manifesto. Some have criticized this fresco in Montenegro as the country used to be apart of communist Yugoslavia and there are still some older people who remember communism fondly. To many others, the communists are rightly where they belong.
