It is now known that Stalin killed at least 20 million people under his rule. Russians, Ukrainians and many other ethnic groups in the Soviet Union were either starved, murdered or herded off to die in gulags. All of this was done in the name of communism. There is a double standard when it comes to the crimes of the extreme right and extreme left. It was the extreme left (communism) which killed more people in the 20th century but for decades remained unreported.
