Video: Kurultaj photo show

The YouTube video above shows more of the sights from the Kurultaj festival. The festival was a huge success as tens of thousands of people attended all weekend. The festival celebrates the culture and history of the Hun-Turkic-Hungarian peoples. There were several displays at the festival as well as vendors selling merchandise. From the pictures in the video you can see how large the festival really is. With the festival barely over, left-wing media outlets in Europe have already been attacking the festival. They have been trying to make a connection between the Kurultaj festival with fascism and extremism in Hungary.

How is celebrating your own culture and its roots extremist? Every culture and ethnicity in this world has the right to self-determination and the right to self-preservation. Teaching people, especially the youth, about their traditions and history is a necessity. The tactic that is being used by the left-wing media is just another attempt to make people feel guilty or bad about celebrating their own culture. Taking pride in your own culture is rational and natural, there is nothing bad in that. Unfortunately, there are those want to make people forget about who they are and where they've come from. The first step in defeating a people is making them forget who they are.
