Romanians can't trust Hungary

A recent poll showed that a majority of Romanians can't trust Hungary.

A recent poll by a Romanian group called IRES (Romanian Association for Evaluation and Strategy), showed that a majority of Romanians can't trust Hungary. This is no surprise considering the history between the two countries and its peoples. Relations between the two countries have been frosty at the best of times and downright nasty at the worst of times.

Hungary lost a large part of her territory and a few million ethnic Hungarians (Magyars) to Romania due to the Treaty of Trianon in 1921. The poll found that about 77% of Romanians do not trust or do not trust at all in Hungary. The poll was conducted from August 21 to 24 with about 1,500 people questioned. I'm pretty sure a poll like this in Hungary about Romania would get similar results.
