Just came across this commercial by the green environmentalist organization called 10:10. I found it to be very disturbing and in poor taste. In the commercial, you see various scenarios in which people (adults and children), are being asked what they will do to be "green" or environmentally friendly. The people who don't answer or don't care are literally blown up in a very graphic fashion by the environmentalist asking the question. This commercial raises very disturbing questions about the whole green-friendly environmental movement.
For example, if you disagree with them, do they have a right to kill you? We've seen these kind of extremist ideologies in the 20th century. The opponents of fascism and communism were often silenced or executed because they didn't follow the status quo. Judging by recent events and by this sick commercial, we can come to the conclusion that the green environmentalist movement is becoming the new totalitarianism of the 21st century. By the way, I am still going to do my recycling...
