Around seven hundred Hungarian school children were let into the Parliament Building in Budapest to celebrate Christmas. The children were entertained by various singers and participated in many games and activities. Many of the children came from the neighbouring countries beside Hungary. They are ethnic Hungarians who were cut off from the motherland due to the Treaty of Trianon in 1920. It was a special day as many of them have never been to Hungary before. The children received the key to parliament at the beginning but had to return it at the end of the day. The children learned about Hungarian history, culture and music at the event.
