The ridiculousness of political correctness never seems to end. This time it is in a school in New York city in the United States. Greta Hawkins the principal at Edna Cohen Elementary, declared that the singing of "God Bless the USA" was an inappropriate song to sing at a kindergarten graduation. She is now forcing the graduating kindergarten class to sing Justin Biebers' "Baby" song. This song is a about teenage romance. Is this really an appropriate song for such young children? Hawkins says that "God Bless the USA will offend "other cultures". I guess that Hawkins forgot that they live in the United States and that they are American citizens. The depths of political correctness never seem to amaze me.
