Ah, politics in the Ukrainian Parliament can get so exciting! This excitement usually leads to physical fights and punches being thrown. Beware, as you might end up in the hospital after a session in this parliament. This latest violent scuffle occurred over a bill that would allow the use of Russian language in official institutions such as hospitals and courts. This bill would only apply to the eastern part of the Ukraine which is predominately ethnic Russian. There is a great divide in the Ukraine between eastern part which is pro-Russian and the western part which is pro-western (predominately ethnic Ukrainian). Fights and scuffles are nothing new in this parliament. The Ukrainian and Taiwanese parliaments are the most violent in the world. You thought your job was hard, watch these guys!
