Extremist violence on May Day

It's no surprise that there was violence on May Day. The extreme left-wing and social anarchists take advantage of the day that honours hardworking blue collar workers. They take to the streets to spread their message of hate and violence. May Day celebrates the international labour movement and it is celebrated in many countries around the world. The day is an official holiday in many countries and is celebrated peacefully, usually by marches and speeches by workers' unions.
Unfortunately, in some countries, May Day usually involves a lot of violence and property damage caused by the extreme left-wing. Rather than improving their social situation by getting a job, getting a better job, or getting a higher education, these thugs terrorize peaceful societies with their violence. Germany is one country that has a very high-profile extreme left-wing. Every May Day there is always violence, especially in Berlin, the capital of Germany. I've often said that I despise extremists for their lack of education and ignorance, and the May Day crowd definitely falls into that category.

Capitalism is not a perfect system, but it's the best thing we've experienced so far. No other political/economic system that we've had in Western history has been perfect. To tell you the truth, capitalism is far better than feudalism, communism or total anarchy. At least in a capitalist system, everyone has a chance to pursue a dream and work hard to advance themselves without the fear of being imprisoned for their beliefs or accomplishments. Communism was imposed on many societies around the world in the 20th century, usually through revolutions. It proved to be a big failure as it brought economic destruction and executed mass murder on a scale never seen in world history before.

The neo-communists of today still believe that communism works. They believe that Stalinism was a curse and that it didn't reflect the true nature of communism. All the other communist and Marxist regimes around the world also turned out to be disasters on an epic scale. Apparently, the dictatorship of the proletariat never gave way to the peaceful utopian society that was promised to them by Marx and Engels, the fathers of communism. Instead, the dictators remained and imposed their iron will on the people. It is now estimated that up to 100 million people were killed by communism around the world in the 20th century.

This ideology was practiced in many different countries around the world and in many different forms (Stalinism, Maoism, Marxism). They proved to be epic failures in the majority of cases. Only China, Vietnam and Cuba have some kind of communist political system that remains. But even these are giving way to a quasi-capitalist system. I often shake my head when I see the May Day extremists trying to resurrect a failed ideology with senseless violence and destruction. It's been attempted many times and it has failed, get over it.
